Hi! I’m Diamy, a sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania studying political science, communications, and gender studies.
I’m the politics desk editor and a deputy copy editor at The Daily Pennsylvanian, where I was previously a summer news editor. I’m also an incoming audience engagement summer intern at The Detroit Free Press through the Dow Jones News Fund.
As a queer, low-income Chinese American, my passion is for journalism that tells the stories that often go unheard and amplifies voices that are silenced. My work has been cited by CNN, CBS News, The Philadelphia Inquirer, USA Today, Business Insider, Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, Philadelphia Magazine, and more.
